More snow this Winter?

Philips saysCheap Monster energy hatsthat this year Canadians should expect a tougher winter then last year - thanks to La Nina, which generally means it will be colder across Canada.

As the climate changes, Philips says that Canadians will experience greater extremes of weather, but what will really "beat us up" is the increased variability.

Last year, Kitchener/Waterloo only received 45% of it's regular snow fall during the winter months.

Environment Canada's Senior Climatologist, Dave Philips tells 570's Gary Doyle show that we can expect a cooler and longer winter this year.
